Springer FFA Students Begin Beautification Project at Springer Public Schools
The Springer FFA classes have officially begun an exciting project to improve and beautify the front of Springer Public Schools. Students are working together to create new flower beds that will provide a welcoming and attractive entrance to the school.
The first phase of the project includes laying a new border around the flower beds and installing weed cloth to help control unwanted weeds and make the beds easier to maintain. Students are also spreading fresh red mulch throughout the area, giving the landscape a clean and colorful appearance.
This project provides Springer FFA students with valuable hands-on learning opportunities. In addition to improving the appearance of the school grounds, students are gaining practical experience in landscaping, planning, and teamwork.

When the weather begins to cool down, the students will continue the project by selecting and planting flowers and other plants in the new beds. They will also learn how to design and create an irrigation system to help keep the plants healthy and properly watered.
The Springer FFA classes are excited to continue this project and see the finished results. Their hard work will not only enhance the appearance of Springer Public Schools but will also give students the opportunity to develop skills they can use for years to come.
